You may not hear audio in the game if your phone or tablet is running an older version of the Android operating system.
Slingo® Arcade is a game powered by HTML5, and there are compatibility issues with HTML5 audio and Android operating system version 4.4.4 and lower. Because of that unreliability, we have disabled audio in Slingo® Arcade when the game detects a device running Android 4.4.4 or lower.
If your Android device is running a newer version of the operating system and you're not hearing audio in the game, then please insure that your device's volume setting is not muted. You can also try removing and re-installing the app:
- Stop and start the app.
- Clear cache for the Slingo® Arcade app by following these steps. (NOTE: These are general guidelines; the actual process you will follow may differ slightly depending upon which Android device you have.)
- Head to the Settings menu. This can be done by tapping the cog icon in your notification display area.
- Find Apps (or Applications, depending on your device) in the menu, then locate the app that you want to clear the cache or data for.
- Tap on Storage and the buttons for clearing the cache and app data will become available.
- Re-install the game.
If your phone or tablet is running Android 5.0 or above, and your device's audio volume is turned up enough to hear it, and you've removed/re-installed the app...but you're still not hearing sounds in Slingo® Arcade, then please send us a request via the contact form linked to the right of this page.
